Therefore, every time you buy a lootbox, the number of GPay that you will pay and the chance of getting a rare characters increase in direct proportion.

NOTE: A player can have a maximum of 4 characters at the same time. A player with 4 characters cannot get new lootboxes. Therefore, it may take a few minutes or sometimes longer for the characters to appear in your wallet, depending on the network density. At this stage, refresh the page and wait.

After refreshing the page, you can view your NFT character in the “Dragons” tab.

Step 6 — Battle

6.1 — War tips:

Each Character (Guardian or Dragon) is limited to a LifeForce of 1440. After each battle, the characters will lose 240 LifeForces. It takes 24 hours for LifeForce to regenerate back to full capacity.

  • 1 Dragon and 1 Guardian can participate in 6 battles per day.
  • Each player can have 4 active Guardians and 4 Dragons. In this case, a player can fight 24 battles in 24 hours.

6.2 — Elements and Natural Dominance:

Steel > 🧱 Wood > ❄️ Ice > 🔥 Fire > ☘️ Earth > 🛡 Steel

Steel > Wood

Wood > Ice

Ice > Fire

Earth > Steel

Rare > All Elements

Battling dominant elemental styles against weaker elements will increase the chances of winning battles by 20%. Weaker elements battling dominant elements will decrease the chances of winning by 20%.

Tip: In the war, you will encounter 4 different enemies so choose wisely. To increase your probability of winning the war, choose an enemy with the lowest combat power and the weaker element.

6.3 BATTLE ENERGY

Each player will start with 24 battle energy. Each battle uses 1 battle energy. You can recover your battle energy to full capacity once every 24 hours by using the “Recover Energy” function.
To maximize battles, do not use the “Recover Energy” feature unless your Battle Energy is 0.

TIP: A player can fight a maximum of 24 battles per day with 4 guardians and 4 dragons. The more RARE characters you have at this stage, the more likely you are to win the battle. Every time you win a battle, you get a certain percentage of GPay rewards.

6.4 War and Gpay Reward

Click the “Battle” button to join the battle.

Identify 1 guardian to join the battle and click on the NFT character.

After selecting the Guardian, you will see the Dragon selection screen. Select 1 Dragon to join your guardian in the battle.

After making the selections, 4 enemies will appear in front of you. Be cautious at this stage by carefully examining the elements. Identify the enemy character with the lowest combat power and weaker element against the guardian and dragon that you chose.

If you think you made the right choice, press the “Fight” button to start the battle.

After pressing the “Fight” button, confirm the battle from your wallet and wait for the result of the battle.

After the battle result is known, you will be greeted with a screen like the one above.

If you win the war, you will earn a certain amount of XP and Gpay rewards. You will not get XP or GPay rewards if you lose the battle.

NOTE: GemGuardian does not interfere with winning or losing battles. All transactions are done on the blockchain. Players will win or lose the war due to factors such as elements and powers that’s noted in the Whitepaper.

TIP: If you think that you do not have an advantage over the enemy characters you encounter, you can change the selection of Guardian and Dragon to encounter a new enemy character. At this stage, you can change the guardian from the 1st selection you see in the picture, the dragon from the 2nd selection and choose the enemy again from the 3rd selection.

6.5 Fee Error: You may encounter a fee error in some transactions. This is not a game bug. When you try to make a transaction, your transaction may not be approved depending on the density of the MATIC network, in which case you will get a fee error. If you get this error, refresh the page and try to join the battle again.

If avoid errors, you can choose to increase the gas fee manually in your wallet. However, this will increase the cost of participating in the war. You should only do this if you constantly get fee errors.

GemGuardian is a blockchain based game. Every transaction made is recorded on the blockchain and all data is pulled from the Blockchain. Due to the blockchain, it is normal to receive error messages during some operations, depending on the network density. If you encounter an error screen when your action is not confirmed, you can continue the game from where you left off by repeating the process.

6.6 Recover Energy

You can get 24 Battle Energy with “Recover Energy” when Battle Energy is reset. The “Recover Energy” button will appear on your screen every 24 hours.

For example, if you wait 10 days to withdraw your GPay rewards, you can withdraw with a 5% penalty since you have 5 days left to withdraw.

2. XP Rewards

Every NFT gains XP after winning a battle, XP is a requirement for an NFT character to level up. You can increase the XP value of your character by pressing the Claim XP button.
